Gary Herbold


Mr. Herbold is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amerit Fleet Solutions. An original founder of the company, Mr. Herbold has more than 25 years of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur. In 2001, he founded his second entrepreneurial venture, Amerit Consulting, to provide diverse staffing services, business process outsourcing and consulting to Fortune 500 companies. As a combat wounded Disabled Veteran, he is also actively involved in outreach to veteran entrepreneurs, encouraging and supporting veterans in their business ventures. With his expertise, business knowledge and visionary leadership, Mr. Herbold propels AFS’ pursuit of the highest levels of customer service—setting the new standard in the fleet maintenance industry. Attended Sacramento City College and Sacramento State University.

Dan Williams

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Williams is Chief Executive Officer of Amerit Fleet Solutions and a member of the Board of Directors. An original founder of the company, Mr. Williams has more than 20 years of experience in business growth strategy, corporate finance, and account management with Bain & Company as well as Fortune 500 companies from various industries.

Prior to launching Amerit Fleet Solutions, Mr. Williams was primarily responsible for the profitable growth of the staffing practice of Evergent Group. Under Mr. Williams leadership, this practice grew to over $150MM. Two of the companies under Mr. Williams direction earned a position on the “100 Fastest Growing Companies” list by Inc. Magazine. At the launch of Amerit Fleet Solutions, Mr. Williams held the role of Chief Financial Officer, stepping into the role of Chief Executive Office in the summer of 2013.

Mr. Williams oversees the direction and strategy for Amerit Fleet Solutions business operations including finance, account management, sales and marketing. He leads the company with unfaltering commitment to customer service, innovation and financial responsibility. “Our job is to ensure the success of our client’s fleets by providing customized services that deliver real value, improve performance and solve problems.”

Amein Punjani

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Punjani is Chief Operating Officer of Amerit Fleet Solutions and a member of the Board of Directors. An original founder of the company, Mr. Punjani has more than 20 years of experience in quality management, workforce design and process optimization with Ernst & Young, AT&T as well as Fortune 500 companies from various industries.  He is also a member of the Advisory Board to the School of Entrepreneurial Leadership at John F. Kennedy University, Pleasant Hill, California.

Before launching Amerit Fleet Solutions, Mr. Punjani developed the management consulting practice of the Evergent Group.  During this time he led numerous process optimization, system deployment and organization design engagements for various functional groups.  Most notably, Mr. Punjani spent several years leading consulting engagements in the fleet operations group for one of the largest fleets in the country.  At the launch of Amerit Fleet Solutions Mr. Punjani led the successful effort to win one of one of the largest fleet maintenance contracts awarded in the industry.

Mr. Punjani oversees all field operations including the field workforce, safety & compliance, human resources, business integration and IT systems. He leads the company with unfaltering commitment to safety, quality management, customer service and care for our employees.  “What we do every day improves the performance and profitability of our clients’ fleets. Bob Brauer

Mr. Brauer has more then 25 years of fleet industry experience. As CRO and Director of the Board of Amerit Fleet Solutions, Mr. Brauer is responsible for revenue growth and client satisfaction. Prior to Amerit, Mr. Brauer was a Founder and Director of the Board of a nationwide fleet maintenance company, where Mr. Brauer was responsible for operations and sales.  This company was ultimately acquired by Amerit. Mr. Brauer began his career at Ryder System in 1987, and over the course of 12 years, held a series of sales, sales management, and operation leadership roles. Mr. Brauer earned a Business Administration degree from Washington State University.

Kent Bates

Kent Bates

Mr. Bates has worked in accounting and finance for over 25 years in many different industries – telecommunication routers, cloud IP, defense, paper, aluminum, ergonomic furniture, trucking, auditing, printing and software. He earned his CPA while working with Ernst & Young. He has held a variety of positions within finance including CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, Controller of Operations, and Director SEC Reporting. He has a black belt in Six Sigma/Lean and strongly believes in the Lean values of being focused on the customer and their needs, improving processes, and improving communication.

Kevin Clark

Executive Vice President, Field Operations

Beginning his career as a technician in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Clark has gone on to manage and lead fleet maintenance organizations for over 25 years. Prior to Amerit, Mr. Clark worked in the truck leasing industry where he improved  quality by focusing on revenue control, workflow management, vehicle maintenance quality, parts and inventory management, customer relations, and maintenance system training. At Amerit, Mr. Clark has overseen various projects that include opening new locations, implementations for new clients, leading training on multiple fleet maintenance systems and managing high profile, strategic accounts. In his latest role, Mr. Clark is responsible for leading Amerit’s nationwide field and fleet operations, ensuring quality, responsiveness and customer satisfaction.

Peter Souza

Senior Vice President, Safety, Quality and Field Training

With more than 25 years of experience in fleet maintenance operations, Mr. Souza has extensive expertise in shop management, parts operations, training, mentoring, acquisitions and customer service, earning him multiple awards. Mr. Souza ‘s experience makes him uniquely qualified to lead Amerit’s Safety, Quality and Training initiatives.

Angelina Grossi

Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Partnerships

Ms. Grossi has over 15 years of experience in public and private accounting and finance. She began her career working in public accounting at a firm specializing in tax, auditing, and mergers and acquisitions for public and private middle-market companies. She brings a diverse background of staffing, mortgage banking, facilities maintenance, and real estate to Amerit Fleet Solutions. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University.

Karen Vinton

Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Ms. Vinton has over 20 years of experience in marketing, brand management, and business development for both business-to-business and consumer products companies. Beginning her career in marketing communications and account management, she brings a diverse and dynamic perspective to all marketing strategies for Amerit. Focused on building integrated marketing, communication and promotion strategies that clarify Amerit’s unique position in the fleet industry while delivering greater customer engagement, Ms. Vinton leads her team with a relentless commitment to excellence and integrity. Ms. Vinton is an alumnus of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
