WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. (August 8, 2018) —Amerit Fleet Solutions is honored to announce the four finalists of the company-wide ProTech Challenge competition. Joe Pasity, Josh Faith, David Nugent and Charles Archer will advance to Orlando, FL, pitting their skills against the best technicians from around the country in the TMC SuperTech Challenge September 16-18, 2018.
The competition began with nominations from Amerit’s Fleet Managers based on skillset, knowledge and ASE credentials. In all, 18 talented candidates competed in the initial qualifying written exam round. The Top 10 Semi-Finalists moved on to a second qualifying round, an event focusing on hands-on skills testing in Amerit’s Fleet Service Center in Pasadena, TX. The day started with diagnostics, followed by a cook out grilled by the Amerit Executive team, and closed with tractor and trailer PM inspections.
After the judges reviewed overall scoring and results, the top two Heavy Duty technicians and top two Trailer technicians were selected to compete and represent Amerit at the TMC SuperTech 2018.
“The level of competition was unparalleled, and we are thrilled to support our four winners who will represent Amerit at the national competition. Thank you to all of our participants. We hope you will join us next year for another exciting event,” said Kevin Clark, EVP of Field Operations.
