Looking Out For Each Other

Safety is a team effort. When the everyone in the workplace embraces safety as a cooperative effort it becomes one of the most powerful tools for reducing or eliminating injuries.  Imagine what injuries and risks are prevented when you have 1,400+ field employees looking out for each other.

This week’s training encourages our technicians to look out for each other. Moving beyond thinking of themselves and how their actions are safe or unsafe, our workforce is now focused on observing their co-workers’ actions and practices. We strongly encourage recognizing extraordinary acts of safety in person and through our corporate recognition platform DRIVE. We also encourage our employees to take immediate action when they observe an unsafe action or situation. This may be as small as hanging up a cord to prevent tripping or lending a hand to move a heavy object, but little things add up to big results and healthy employees.

Building a safe workplace and preventing injuries is a 24/7 priority at Amerit.

With everyone on the team looking out for each other we can make sure that everyone goes home at the end of the day healthy and happy.
